The prescribed coursebook for FOM Hochschule students taking the Business & Comercial English course is Cornelsen’s Simply Business B1+.
The coursebook provides the core material for classroom lessons and self-study.
The coursebook includes the following components that can be used in the classroom and for guided self-study:
- an online workbook for grammar support and practice activities
- a vocabulary app to learn words and phrases from the book
- audio and video recordings (accessible using the Cornelsen PagePlayer app).

Both the Cornelsen PagePlayer app and the Vokabeltrainer app can be installed on mobile devices free of charge from the App Store or Google Play. However, the Simply Business B1+ vocabulary content needs to be bought from within the app and costs about €7.
