Use this link - Online exercises - to do the following Career Express (B2) 2nd Edition online activities:

• Unit 4: Vocabulary (1 - 5)
• Unit 4: Grammar (1 - 5)
• Unit 4: How it works: The business life-cycle (1 - 2)

To continue your acquisition of new business and general vocabulary, do the following:

1. In your your coursebook Career Express (B2) 2nd Edition, go to page 32, Section 5: Vocabulary practice.

2. Match the sentence halves. Note that option 'f' should be 'its sales reach a peak.' and not 'you didn’t set it up on your own.'

3. Use the Answer key on page 126 to check your answers.

4. Make a list of new vocabulary from Unit 4. Use the word list at the back of your coursebook Career Express (B2) 2nd Edition (page 134).

5. Use your preferred method for learning the new vocabulary (e.g. the Quizlet app, a vocabulary notebook or cards).

Use your coursebook - Career Express (B2) 2nd Edition - to do the following:

1. Go to page 31, Section 4: What the consultants say.

2. If necessary, do listening activity B again (this was done in class).

3. Use the transcript on page 116 to check your notes.

4. Do activity C to learn some collocations used in the recording.

5. Use the Answer key on page 126 to check your answers.

6. In activity D, think of a company, do a little research and come to class prepared to present your findings and discuss the advice you would give.

Use your coursebook - Career Express (B2) 2nd Edition - to do the following:

1. Go to pages 36 - 37, Case study: The rise and fall of Facebook.

2. Read the Fact file.

3. Read the instructions in activity A and look at the headlines.

4. Do activity B and make a note of your answers.
